My second book, the Habilitation, studied a group of prehistoric burials with decorations that are found in various regions almost all over Japan.

I tried to apply quantifying techniques, applying data models, implementing classifications and analysing the data with regard to certain research questions.

This research was partly financed by the Mitsubishi Foundation, but in 2015, I had to put this research aside since the project on the Nakadake kiln site center had become central to my research.

After publishing the most important results urgently in 2015, I am planning to return to this topic after finishing the project on the Nakadake kiln site center.
